The Longfill : Our Logical Response to an Inconsistent Law
Since the introduction of the new regulations on vaping products in Switzerland, a major contradiction has become apparent: on the one hand, the law imposes a maximum volume of 10 ml for e-liquid refills containing nicotine , and on the other, it sets a minimum volume for the number of cigarettes in a pack . This opposition between limitation and obligation raises a simple question: where is the logic?
From a purely regulatory perspective, we are limiting a substitute product (vaping) while consolidating the traditional model (cigarettes). This approach seems less driven by public health than by aligning the vaping business model with that of tobacco, with higher purchase frequency, smaller volumes, and increased logistical dependence.
Among the justifications put forward by the authorities is the protection of children , who could be exposed to danger if they accidentally ingest nicotine. However, this argument seems selective and inconsistent : in all homes, we find extremely dangerous household products (bleach, drain cleaners, solvents, etc.), sometimes in bottles of one liter or more – and no one is requiring them to be divided into 10 ml vials . Why then does this restrictive measure only apply to nicotine refills? The logic is crumbling, and the impression of unfairly targeted treatment is growing stronger.
A law that penalizes good weaning practices
Vaping, when properly supervised, remains one of the most effective ways to quit smoking . Unlike disposable puffs sold at gas stations and kiosks – without any advice or follow-up – vape shops have always played an essential role in providing support , particularly in gradually reducing nicotine levels .
The new law, by restricting access to flexible formats and promoting rapid sales of standardized products like Vuse or Veev (owned by tobacco giants), weakens this field work . The traditional cigarette model is simply transposed to vaping: quick purchase, automatic consumption, without hindsight or adjustment.
Our solution: a simple, legal and progressive system
Faced with these artificial constraints, we decided to offer a concrete alternative that complies with legislation: the Longfill format .
This system allows you to maintain a long vaping autonomy without breaking the law , by circumventing the obligation of 10 ml nicotine bottles... without violating it. Thanks to this model, the vaper finds a fluid, economical experience, without complicated equipment and compatible with a real weaning plan .
The Longfill principle, simplified for everyone
We designed DIY for Dummies : a concept that democratizes Do It Yourself without its drawbacks.
Here's how it works:
-
Our e-liquids are sold in the form of concentrated flavors in 75 ml bottles .
-
Each bottle contains 10 ml of flavor , formulated to be completed with neutral base, with or without nicotine.
-
The user chooses the quantity of nicotine boosters (10 ml to 20 mg/ml) to add according to the desired level.
👉 Example: to obtain a rate of 8 mg/ml , you will need 2 nicotine boosters and 2 neutral boosters , for a total of 50 ml (with the 10 ml of concentrate) -
Everything is ready to use after a simple shake and a resting time (5 to 10 days) , which can be accelerated using an ultrasonic bath . (directly vaporizable)
-
The advantages of our Longfill model
-
✅ Compliant with the law : no bottle containing more than 10 ml of nicotine.
-
✅ Scalable : allows you to adapt the nicotine level over time (16 mg → 12 mg → 8 mg → 4 mg → 0).
-
✅ More economical : than buying several small pre-mixed bottles.
-
✅ Accessible to all : no tools or calculators required.
-
✅ Supports true weaning : a complete break from the puffs sold over-the-counter by the tobacco industry.
With our Longfill format, we offer a responsible, economical and customizable vape, serving real weaning . A model designed for the long term, and not to maintain a disguised addiction.
